Show Us What You're Made Of

It's time for our second annual Show Us What You're Made Of Contest!

We've been blown away by the creativity and dedication of church leaders from around the world who've connected with us to better communicate God's truth in meaningful ways. So now it's time to share your great ideas in our second annual Show Us What You're Made Of Contest!

Send us your innovative church idea by November 17. Show us how you're doing church differently, whether it's a clever way to reach out to your community, a creative weekend experience, a resourceful solution to a difficult challenge, or an effective leadership practice. We'll pick one outstanding entry and award the winner two free passes to our February 2007 Creative Church Conference plus two copies of Ed's book, The Creative Leader - a $600 value! We'll also announce the winning entry at the conference.

The rules are mostly the same as last time around, with one change. We're limiting submissions to three per church, and you can include all your entries in one batch. Here are the official guidelines:

1. Tell us about your creative idea using the medium of your choice, whether it's a video, photo, letter, or a song if you're so inclined. Mail submissions to CreativePastors Contest, 2450 Hwy. 121 N., Grapevine, TX 76051. Or, email your idea (less than 5 mb) to info@creativepastors.com. Just no .zip or .exe files, please.
2. The field is wide open. Your idea can be a unique method to recruit volunteers, a fun, new way to reach students, or a buzz-creating video. It does not need to include a CreativePastors resource - we just want to see and share the creative ways you're doing church.
3. Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and usefulness. We know you don't let the size of your budget limit your creative ideas, so we won't let it limit our consideration either. In fact, you might get bonus points for outrageous creativity on a shoestring budget!
4. Enter as many ideas as three ideas.
5. Entries must be received by November 17, 2006.

* By the way, don't hesitate to register for the conference early. We'll refund your registration fee if you are the clever winner!
