This curriculum is such a blessing to our church. We have a very small children's ministry and few resources at our disposal. The Elevate! curriculum allows us to keep the kids excited and energized. Instead of spending all our time on research and writing lessons, we now spend our time making sure we deliver the message effectively. Not only are they anxious to come back the next week, but the kids actually retain a lot of the material presented in the Bible stories. We can't say thank you enough! Praise God!!!

To do so, the king seeks the counsel of the kingdom's two most trusted advisers. The lessons King Earl, and your children, learn will help to develop the noble character God wants all of us to have.

Lesson 1

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that they should follow God by doing what He wants. They can learn what God wants by praying, reading their Bible, coming to church and listening to others.
Main Point: I Will Do What God Wants!
Bible Story: Gideon does what God wants (Judges 6-7)
Memory Verse: Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart;do not depend on your own understanding.Seek his will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take." (NLT)

Lesson 2

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that they should do what God says is right, despite potential rewards or consequences.
Main Point: I Will Stand Up For What Is Right!
Bible Story: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Daniel 3)
Memory verse: 1 Corinthians 16:13
"Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong." (NLT)

Lesson 3

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that God wants them to make wise choices, and that they should ask God to help them make those choices.
Main Point: I Will Make Wise Choices!
Bible Story: King Solomon (1 Kings 3)
Memory Verse: Proverbs 2:11
"Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe." (NLT)

Lesson 4

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that they should treat other people with kindness; they can do this with their words and their actions.
Main Point: I Will Act With Kindness!
Bible Story: Abigail shows kindness to David (1 Samuel 25)
Bible Verse: Ephesians 4:32
"Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." (NLT)

Lesson 5

Lesson Goal: The children will be taught that they should learn from the positive and negative examples of others around them. They will also learn that they should use this knowledge to make better choices.
Main Point: I Will Learn From People In The Bible And From Others!
Bible Story: King Belshazzar and the writing on the wall (Daniel 5)
Bible Verse: Proverbs 19:20
"Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life." (NLT)

Lesson 6

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that they should act on their faith. There are a number of ways they can learn this, including stepping out on beliefs, sharing faith with others and doing what you know God wants you to do.
Main Point: I Will Show My Faith Through My Actions!
Bible Story: Jesus and the sick woman (Matthew 9)
Memory Verse: James 2:18b
"Now someone may argue, 'Some people have faith; others have good deeds.' But I say, 'How can you show me your faith if you don't have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.'"(NLT)

Lesson 7

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should help people in need, even if it means risking our own comfort and safety.
Main Point: I Will Take A Risk To Help Others!
Bible Story: Esther saves the Jews (Esther)
Bible Verse: Luke 3:11b
"John replied, "If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry." (NLT)

Lesson 8

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that Jesus took the punishment for our sins and they will be given a chance to respond.
Main Point: I Will Follow Jesus' Example!
Bible Story: The Salvation Story (passages from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)
Bible Verse: Philippians 2:5
"You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had." (NLT)
